This Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole is the perfect chilly weeknight meal! Fresh chicken, ham, and swiss cheese with a creamy sauce and topped with buttered bread cubes – delicious!
This Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole is one you absolutely have to pin or put on your menu plan really soon! It does require a longer bake time because of the chicken, but it really takes mere minutes to put together in the baking dish so you’re free to get other things done while this cooks.
Can I make Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole ahead of time?
You certainly could! Keep it covered with foil and refrigerated before baking in the oven. This is perfect if you have guests coming for dinner!
Can you freeze Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole?
This recipe would make a great freezer meal! Assemble the casserole in a freezer safe container, cover, and freeze for up to 6 months. When ready to bake, allow casserole to thaw overnight in the refrigerator and be sure to check chicken’s internal temperature after baking to make sure it’s done (it may require a few additional minutes bake time).
